dude this rocks my socks off!

• Did anyone critique your work this week? If so, what were their impressions?

yes, the photos still appear to be a negative critique of pet owners. i'm not close enough to my subjects. the images look sterile and show fear.

• What was the most motivational or creative moment of the past week?

large prints to show for crit. the 88 dogs at daycare and the dog birthday party.

• What do you want to achieve in next week's studio practice?

show more emotion in the photos. be less sterile.

• What did you achieve in your studio this past week?

large prints and a group crit.

• What was the most profound thought in relation to your practice this week?

its a never ending battle to make successful work. you never arrive, you just keep trying different things.
this work, as jennida said and i already kind of knew this, is very personal and its a journey about myself trying to find more people akin to me. i get incredibly disappointed when a pet lover rejects me (a pet lover) and doesn't want to share the pet lovingness! arg!
